Camp Joyful Soles
Please complete the APPLICATION below in order to be accepted into Camp Joyful Soles this summer. Upon acceptance of the application, you will be able to register for your desired weeks of Camp Joyful Soles. This small, specialized camp is limited to just 30 participants each week and includes: arts and crafts; games, music, art and drama therapy, special guests, field trips and swimming once a week. The cost is $175 for City of Milton and Alpharetta residents and $262.50 for non-residents (a 50% increase) per week. Guardians may register for all seven weeks or a week at a time. Camp Joyful Soles begins in June and runs for seven weeks (with no camp the week of July 4). Milton's special needs day camp, serving children 13-22 years, is held in partnership with Alpharetta’s Camp Happy Hearts which serves children ages 6-12 years. Cheer Classes
Ladreena Walton, founder of Dreenadances LLC, brings energy, creativity, and a passion for youth development to every class she teaches. Through her Tiny Tot and Youth Cheer programs, participants explore a fun combination of cheer, dance, and step while building coordination, confidence, teamwork, and flexibility. From learning basic cheer movements and using pom poms to developing strong performance skills, students grow both on and off the floor—all while making friends and having a great time. Each session concludes with a special showcase, giving families the opportunity to see everything their participants have learned and accomplished.
Roman's Kicks & Tricks
Our program is Karate with a twist but it is not the average martial arts program—the goal for our students is to help them feel empowered and capable to help others and be more of a strong, positive friend to all. We are a no-contact school. The main emphasis is building skills that provide not only a great foundation for childhood development, but for life-long character.
Kidcreate Studio
Kidcreate Studio's award-winning art classes allow kids to explore art in an environment full of giggles and grins. Kids create fridge worthy masterpieces while learning art concepts and experimenting with different art materials. The curriculum is age-appropriate and designed to inspire. Classes provide a fun, self-esteem building atmosphere full of “I did it” moments. Making a mess is the best with Kidcreate Studio. This program is designed for children between 3 and 9 years old with a duration of 1 hour in the case of the Weekly Classes and 3 to 5 hours in the case of the Mini Camps. We have scheduled several lesson plans where children can explore with different materials and techniques. We will use clay, paint, paper, cotton, canvas, and many more where the children will make beautiful works of art worthy of being displayed on the refrigerator.
